How to cook Dinengdeng na Saluyot with Tinapa

 

Ginisang Monggo with Saluyot is a traditional Filipino dish that is not only delicious but also packed with nutrients. If you want to learn how to cook this nutritious meal, follow the steps below.

Step 1: Gather Your Ingredients

Before you start cooking, make sure you have all the necessary ingredients. You will need monggo beans, saluyot leaves, garlic, onions, tomatoes, pork belly (optional), and shrimp (optional).

Step 2: Prepare the Ingredients

Peel and chop the garlic and onions. Dice the tomatoes. If you are using pork belly, slice it into small pieces. Rinse the monggo beans and set them aside. Wash the saluyot leaves thoroughly.
